The Miami Hurricanes women’s basketball team was once led by the Cavinder Twins, Hanna and Haley Cavinder. While they could not deliver postseason or championship glory to the Canes, they became social media superstars while also lifting the profile of Miami’s women’s basketball squad. After they graduated from the University of Miami, they chose to stay as social media influencers and did not pursue a career in professional basketball.
Hanna and Haley Cavinder are more of fitness influencers these days, though Haley is also known as the fiancee of Dallas Cowboys star Jake Ferguson. While they have not pursued a career in the WNBA, the twins have not forgotten about their love for basketball.
In a post on her Instagram Stories, Haley Cavinder showed that they can still suit up and were part of a video shoot of herself back in a basketball court and playing.
This post reliving their past basketball glory days comes as their alma mater, Miami, made it all the way to the College Football National Championship Game at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.
The team ultimately lost but Haley Cavinder is definitely cheering for the Canes. As for her sister, Hanna, she is the ex of Miami QB Carson Beck, and the two had a very public breakup and things are more complicated with her.
Back in March, Haley posted a heart-felt goodbye to the game of basketball as she graduated from the University of Miami. She stated that the sport impacted her life but it was time to move on from the sport she had been playing since she and Hanna were still six years old.

As fitness influencers, Hanna and Haley Cavinder have to maintain a certain body type, and they have struggled maintaining their glutes. While they have had breast augmentation surgery, the twins decided not to do so for their rear ends, instead going for a more healthy option and worked on it without requiring any surgery, showing off their body transformations on social media:
They revealed that their method this time was a lot more sustainable and that they focused more on recovery and balance and not constant restriction and exhaustion, and the results speak for themselves.
