On Tuesday, Women’s Hoops Masterclass uploaded its third official mock draft featuring the top 45 WNBA prospects. However, UConn Huskies guard Azzi Fudd, TCU Horned Frogs senior Olivia Miles and LSU Tigers scorer Flau’jae Johnson were not projected to be selected with the first pick of this year’s draft. Instead, 19-year-old Spanish forward Awa Fam was projected to be the top selection by Jose Fernandez’s Dallas Wings.
Fam is a Senegalese standout who has since garnered Spanish citizenship, allowing her to play for Valencia Basket in the Liga Femenina de Baloncesto. Establishing herself as one of the best players in her position in Europe at a young age, Fam is now eligible to get drafted into the WNBA. Along with playing for Valencia Basket, Fam has also represented Spain in several FIBA tournaments.
“3rd official 2026 WNBA Mock Draft by Women’s Hoops Masterclass. The list features the top 45 WNBA prospects post-conference tournament and pre-NCAA Tournament. ⚠️ The ranking is always subject to change,” @womenhoopsmasterclass on Instagram captioned with an emoji.
Meanwhile, Miles is projected to be the second selection by Cheryl Reeve’s Minnesota Lynx. The third pick is projected to be Fudd, who is slated to be picked up by Noelle Quinn’s Seattle Storm. Johnson fell all the way down to No. 6 to Sandy Brondello’s Toronto Tempo, one of the expansion teams entering the league this year.
Nell Angloma and Cotie McMahon are projected to be the fourth and fifth picks respectively, while Ta’Niya Latson, Madina Okot, Lauren Betts and Gianna Kneepkens round out the top 10.
Paige Bueckers Was The Top Pick In The 2025 WNBA Draft
The Dallas Wings, formerly coached by Chris Koclanes, selected former UConn Huskies star Paige Bueckers with the first overall pick of the 2025 WNBA Draft.
The Hopkins, Minnesota, native became the 2025 WNBA Rookie of the Year and will likely have another All-Star-worthy campaign in her second season, barring any injuries.
She is now presumably looking at her Wings staff to select her girlfriend, Azzi Fudd, with their pick.
