“Ayesha Curry Doppleganger”: Fans Hail Paige Bueckers’ Girlfriend Azzi Fudd’s Brown Tinted Sunglasses Look at Unrivaled

Paige Bueckers’ girlfriend, Azzi Fudd, cheered for the Breeze BC star in a semifinal playoff clash against Mist BC. Fudd, whose UConn team is still waiting for its next opponent in the Big East Tournament, was at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the highly anticipated showdown.

Fudd, who sat courtside, quickly got the fans’ attention. One fan wrote:

    “Ayesha Curry doppelganger.”

    Another fan added:

“I thought this was Ayesha Curry replacement @StephenCurry30”

    One more fan continued:

“What does Paige got that I don’t.”

    Another fan commented:

“Yeah, if she sat courtside I’m scoring 81 like Kobe.”

    One fan tweeted:

“Looking forward to her WNBA Fits.”

Steph Curry’s wife is known for wearing tinted glasses, as she did in a summer outing last year with the Golden State Warriors superstar. Fans associated Azzi Fudd’s look on Monday with that of the chef and social media influencer.

With Fudd on the sidelines, Paige Bueckers led her team to a fiery 13-0 start. Breeze extended its lead to 26-10 after the first quarter.

Behind Dominique Malongo, Allisha Gray and Unrivaled co-founder Breanna Stewart, Mist steadily cut the deficit. Stewart’s team only trailed 44-38 at halftime, prompting nervous fiddling from Azzi Fudd and Breeze supporters.

The third quarter was an entertaining back-and-forth battle. Paige Bueckers’ floater with 31 seconds remaining gave Breeze a 62-55 advantage with a quarter left to play.

Breeze looked like it would run away after Dominique Malonga pushed her team’s lead to 64-55. Mist responded with a furious 18-5 run to stun Bueckers and her teammates to  move to the championship round.

Paige Bueckers Couldn’t Grab Crucial Rebound in Breeze BC’s Disastrous Ending

With Mist leading 70-69 and needing a 3-pointer to end Breeze BC’s season, the team went to resident gunner Arike Ogunbowale. Paige Bueckers hounded her before a Breanna Stewart screen forced Dominique Malonga to chase Ogunbowale.

Ogunbowale’s 22-footer went a little short, but the 6-foot-4 Stewart grabbed the rebound against the undersized Bueckers and forward Cameron Brink. “Stewie kicked the ball out to Ogunbowale again, who finally nailed a corner triple over Malonga’s outstretched hands.

Paige Bueckers and Breeze BC walked off the court in disappointment as Mist BC celebrated Arike Ogunbowale’s game-winning 3-pointer.
