The TCU Horned Frogs are currently sitting pretty in the Big 12 standings, occupying the first spot with a conference record of 14-3 and an overall record of 26-4. One of the major reasons behind the Texas-based program’s success so far this season is their standout guard Olivia Miles, who is on a historic run this campaign.
Currently averaging a total of 20.1 points, Miles has also garnered 6.9 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game this season. While her on-court success has caught the attention of basketball fans alike, her personal life too has a lot of basketball influence.
After confirming their relationship back in June 2025, Olivia Miles and Maddy Westbeld are one of the most talked-about couples in the NCAA. Westbeld, who currently plays as a forward for the Chicago Sky, first met Miles during her college basketball stint at Notre Dame.
After being picked as the 16th draft pick by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA back in 2025, Westbeld, in her rookie season, is currently averaging 4.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 0.9 assists per game. Westbeld has also achieved All-American honors while also being named ACC Rookie of the Year as a freshman at Notre Dame.
The couple have been very active on social media, sharing pictures of each other online. They are also parents to a cat, Bean, who often makes an appearance on both of their Instagram handles.
Maddy Westbeld Embraces Transformative Rookie WNBA Season With Chicago Sky
After being tagged as a five-star recruit by ESPN, Maddy Westbeld got her first opportunity in the WNBA with the Chicago Sky in 2025. Her rookie season with the Chicago-based side has been quite eventful.
In an interview with Photobook Magazine, Maddy revealed how important her first WNBA season has been for her while also claiming to have met her actual character in the process, which she loves every bit of.
“My rookie season in the W(NBA) may have been the most pivotal season of my life,” Westbeld stated in an interview with photobook magazine.
“I met my character in my rookie season and I love who she is”, she further elaborated.
Meanwhile, Olivia Miles also had a lot of draft projections coming into her current season with TCU, but she continued to play college basketball for one more season, and it won’t come as a surprise if Miles goes on to be one of the higher draft picks come next season.
