Chloe Kitts might be one of the most recognizable faces in Dawn Staley’s South Carolina. She was there when the Lady Gamecocks won the national championship back in 2024, and she was the SEC Tournament MVP just last year.
Suffice to say, she’s all about hoops. Even her love life. Her boyfriend is none other than Toronto Raptors forward Collin Murray-Boyles. Murray-Boyles also attended the University of South Carolina, where he played basketball between 2023 and 2025. There, he earned SEC All-Freshman (2024) and Second Team All-SEC (2025) honors.
The pair has been officially dating since April 2024, when Kitts published a video of them going together to the annual Gamecocks Gala.
Since then, Collin Murray-Boyles has moved to the NBA after being drafted ninth overall in the 2025 NBA Draft.
2025-26: A Difficult Year For Chloe Kitts
2025-26 was supposed to be Chloe Kitts’ crowning achievement, as she would’ve come on her own as a true leader of the team as a senior. Sadly, she has missed the entirety of the season due to a preseason torn ACL.
At the time, coach Dawn Staley had this to say about her situation:
“We hate this first for Chloe, who has worked incredibly hard to become the best version of herself on the court this season. Her teammates are capable of stepping up, and I know that her competitive fire and tenacity will be felt from the sidelines as she pours what she can into them to ensure our team’s success.”
Kitts herself posted a statement on social media, where she maintained that she would remain close to the team during the season and that her career was far from over.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support,” Kitts wrote on an Instagram post. “While this isn’t how I expected my senior season would go, I’m trusting God’s timing and purpose. I’ll continue to lead, support, and push my team from the sidelines. We have big things ahead!”
Chloe Kitts was expected to be a first-round pick for the 2026 WNBA Draft. Currently, it’s unclear if she will return to South Carolina for another season or if she still plans to declare for this year’s draft.
She already has three seasons of NCAA action, two as a starter, and has been to two national championships, winning one.
