Caitlin Clark Drops 3-Word Reaction for Gabriela Jaquez’s Insane NCAA Final Performance

Amid her awe-inspiring performance, UCLA Bruins guard Gabriela Jaquez received praise from one of the best women’s basketball players, Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark.

On Sunday, Jaquez and the rest of coach Cori Close’s Bruins defeated coach Dawn Staley’s South Carolina Gamecocks 79-51 in the NCAA title on neutral grounds, the Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jaquez led her team, finishing with a game-high 21 points on an efficient 8-for-14 overall shooting, to go along with 10 rebounds, five assists, and a steal in 34 minutes of playing time. This performance by Jaquez in the national final got the attention of Clark, who took to her X/Twitter account to share a three-word reaction on Jaquez’s performance.

    “Jaquez going crAzy,” Clark claimed.

With the praise that Jaquez got from Clark, it is presumed that she is reeling in the inspiration right now. Jaquez will likely follow in Clark’s footsteps to the WNBA, as the former is projected to get selected in the 2026 draft later this month. Jaquez is in her fourth year of collegiate hoops, which may very well be her last.
