Azzi Fudd Trumps Mikayla Blakes, Flau’jae Johnson, Lauren Betts And More in One Crucial Skill As Per Chiney Ogwumike

Women’s college basketball has been blessed with some great talent. A’ja Wilson, Napheesa Collier, Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Paige Bueckers have taken the level of women’s basketball to new heights. This season, the WNBA Draft will see some of the most talented college players.

Azzi Fudd, Flau’jae Johnson, Mikayla Blakes, Olivia Miles, Hannah Hidalgo, Lauren Betts, Kiki Rice, Ta’Niya Latson, Gabriela Jaquez, Raven Johnson, Cotie McMahon, and Madina Okot are some of the names that have garnered attention and are set to feature in the WNBA next season. Naturally, there will be a lot of comparisons between the best of the stars.

Recently, former WNBA star and ESPN host Chiney Ogwumike revealed who she thinks is the best shooter in women’s college basketball. In a hypothetical scenario of who should take the game-winning shot, Ogwumike was given a few options.

Olivia Miles, Lauren Betts, Raven Johnson, Flau’jae Johnson, Mikayla Blakes, Audi Crooks, Hannah Hidalgo, and Jaloni Cambridge were all put against Azzi Fudd. However, no one is a better shooter than UConn star, according to Ogwumike. She picked Fudd over all other stars.

Azzi Fudd has been splendid this season. She has been averaging 17.7 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 3 assists. She has led UConn after Paige Bueckers moved to the WNBA last year. The UConn Huskies are the only unbeaten team in college basketball this season.
