When it comes to Texas Longhorns basketball, Kevin Durant is considered one of the school’s greatest student-athletes. Now, the Slim Reaper is teaming up with the school and Nike to help out student-athletes at the University of Texas with some big NIL deals, and that includes Madison Booker, who shares Durant’s No. 35 jersey number at Texas.
Madison Booker will now be the first athlete to have access to several Nike Kevin Durant merchandise items, such as shoes and apparel, as the NBA star aims to feature rising student athletes with his “Boardroom.”
This NIL partnership soon got the attention of several people, such as former WNBA star Allison Feaster. The former Los Angeles Sparks forward showed Madison Booker some love in the comments section.
“🔥🔥🔥,” she commented.

Feaster is also the mom of UConn Huskies forward Sarah Strong and has been very supportive of college women’s basketball, even if Booker is not a teammate of her daughter’s.
She used to be a WNBA All-Star in 2004 and was a two-time NCAA scoring leader with Harvard University. Feaster started her WNBA career with the LA Sparks before heading to the Charlotte Sting and then wrapping up her career with one season with the Indiana Fever in 2008.
As for Madison Booker, expect her to be seen rocking Nike Kevin Durant sneakers whenever she plays, as well as Nike KD apparel when she is out in public. The timing for this NIL deal is also crucial, as Texas is expected to play in this year’s March Madness.
Kevin Durant Speaks on Teaming Up with Madison Booker and Texas
During the NIL deal signing with the University of Texas and Kevin Durant’s “Boardroom,” the Slim Reaper himself was present and spoke about partnering with Madison Booker and his alma mater.
“My time at UT had a huge impact on not only my basketball career, but on me personally,” said Kevin Durant. “Supporting players during their college playing career was always a goal, and I’m thrilled to be able to expand our partnership with UT, bring Boardroom into the mix, and create programming that benefits all UT student-athletes.”
Durant led the Longhorns to the final of the NCAA National Championship Tournament only to fall to Ohio State. A few months later, he was selected as the No. 2 overall pick by the Seattle Super Sonics, and the rest is history.
