Clark and the Fever won two of their three preseason games, defeating the New York Liberty and Nigeria. These matchups marked Clark’s first in the WNBA since July 2025. She averaged 13.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists in the preseason.

Clark was limited to just 13 games last season after suffering a series of quad and groin injuries. She averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game. The Fever made a deep postseason run without her, reaching Game 5 of the WNBA semifinals. They were eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces, who won the title last season.
