Indiana Fever fans compared Olivia Miles to Caitlin Clark after a clip of her exchanging words with Alyssa Thomas went viral on X. The Timberwolves recorded their first win of the season on Tuesday, defeating the Phoenix Mercury 88-84.
Miles was productive in the win, finishing with 13 points, six rebounds and seven assists, shooting 5-for-10. Thomas had a rough shooting night, finishing with 10 points. She went 2-for-10 from the field and 6-for-13 from the free-throw line.
Fans reacted to a clip of Miles going at Thomas, comparing the rookie to Fever guard Caitlin Clark.

Olivia Miles has gotten off to a productive start in the WNBA, averaging 17.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists per game. She recorded a team-high 21 points in her debut against the Atlanta Dream, shooting 6-for-14, including 1-for-2 from 3-point range.
Miles also had three rebounds, eight assists, two steals and two blocks. Her performance saw her become just the fifth WNBA player to record more than 20 points and five assists in their debut. According to Alexa Philippou, she joins Candace Parker Tonya Edwards, Dawn Staley and Cynthia Cooper.
A statistic from the Real App also claims that Miles is the first player in WNBA history to record more than 30 points and 15 assists through her first two games in the league.
Miles and the Lynx will return to action on Thursday to face the Dallas Wings at College Park Center.
