The Jeffrey Epstein files and the controversy associated with them have brought America’s growing crisis of child sexual abuse into the spotlight, and Sophie Cunningham has also joined the cause. Tim Tebow, a former NFL quarterback, gave an emotional testimony in court, appealing to Congress to pass the reformed Hope Act.
The new Hope Act will help in the identification of child victims who are subjected to online sexual abuse and will help in curbing the growing issue. While talking about online sexual abuse cases, Tebow showed a world map, marked with location markers to highlight the areas where child rape content was shared online. He added that almost every case was of the victims under the age of 12.
In the video shared on Instagram by the founder of the Tim Tebow Foundation, the former athlete said:
“We are losing the battle and we are losing the war and the boys and girls are suffering for it… We know that 55% to 85% of them are on hand offenders and we know that your average offender has 13 victims in their lifetime.”
WNBA star Sophie Cunningham reshared Tim Tebow’s video on her Instagram story, showing her support for the cause.

Several political and other celebrities have supported the fight to get the new Hope Act into execution.
