This weekend, news broke of Knicks guard Jordan Clarkson’s involvement in an altercation at a New York City Club. According to reports, this altercation involved hip hop star Travis Scott.
As per TMZ, Clarkson and Scott were both at the Zero Bond private membership club on Saturday. Allegedly, a man started filming Scott while “chatting with another attendee inside the NYC hot spot.” The rapper was said to confront this man, and in the ensuing situation, Scott’s entourage reportedly started throwing bottles. Clarkson would then step in “to de-escalate the situation.
TMZ also published photos of Clarkson, who was wearing a dark tank top, black pants, and a fancy chain, being led away by police officers. One photo shows the Knicks guard moving his arm away from the grip of one policeman.
The report by TMZ did not indicate whether anyone was detained in this situation, though the outlet noted that there was “no word back” after they contacted the reps of Clarkson and Scott, as well as the establishment and NYPD.
Just a month ago, Clarkson was celebrating with his teammates at the Knicks’ championship parade. During the Knicks-Spurs finals, Clarkson averaged 3.5 ppg and 1.5 rpg in 7.5 minutes per outing.

On a lighter note, another Knicks player had to do an about-face on his own World Cup prediction.
Last week, Josh Hart had tweeted that Argentina was the football equivalent of his New York squad. However, while the Knicks succeeded in capturing a championship this year, Lionel Messi and his ball club fell short of winning back-to-back World Cups. After Spain got the better of Argentina on Sunday, Hart took back his own prediction.
“I lied.”
Over the next several months, all eyes will be on the Knicks as they mount their own title retention bid.
