    Caitlin Clark is already one of the WNBA’s greatest players in just her third season in the league. Despite a lot of discourse this season, one thing has been constant: Clark breaking records. And she broke another one as June comes to an end.

    She became the only player in WNBA history to average 20 points and eight assists per game in a month. And she has achieved the feat five times over her career. Fans were astonished and in awe of her greatness.

    Clark averaged 21.9 points and 8.2 assists in 10 games in June. These were her stat lines:

    • June 20 – Fever vs. Dream – 26 points, 3 rebounds, 7 assists

    Is Caitlin Clark injured?

    Fever coach Stephanie White declared Clark unavailable after second game against the Mercury. Other than Alyssa Thomas’ controversial contact on Clark in the first half, the Fever star left Wednesday’s 111-109 loss in the third quarter with back discomfort. The injury kept her out of the Fever’s 111-87 home win over the Los Angeles Sparks on Saturday.

    She is out indefinitely due to the recurring back issue. She has been limited to individual workouts by the coaching staff. Her recovery depends on her day-to-day progress.
