Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend was hyped after the WNBA superstar dropped the first look of her signature shoe with Nike. Caitlin 1 is scheduled to be launched on October 1, 2026, and the first colorway will be “Racer Blue,” priced at approximately $140. And her partner was excited for the new release.
The Indiana Fever star is under an eight-year, $28 million contract with the sneaker brand. This will be the first installment in her signature shoe portfolio with Nike. Giving a glimpse into her moments with shoe designing and the journey, Clark shared a carousel of images on Instagram and wrote:
“A very, very, very, very, very normal photo dump.”
Clark’s boyfriend and the recently hired development coach of the Indiana Pacers G League team, Connor McCaffery, shared an image of her signature shoe on his Instagram story, with several fire emojis, showcasing his excitement about the highly anticipated drop.

Several WNBA players, like Elizabeth Kitley, Lexie Hull, and Kate Martin, among others, have commented and shared their excitement about the launch. From the image, it seemed like Clark was wearing the pair of shoes during a training session.

Caitlin Clark became part of Time’s list of 100 most influential people in sports in 2026, alongside legends like Jannik Sinner, LeBron James, and Lionel Messi. She has brought much-needed hype and attention to women’s sports after her induction into the pro league.
Clark also reclaimed her spot as the assist leader of the league this season in the last game against the Toronto Tempo. She contributed 21 points and 14 assists in the game and took her team to a dominant 113-91 win.
The Fever have won their fourth consecutive game and improved their record to 9-5 after a difficult start to the season. Changes in offensive strategy and coaching techniques from head coach Stephanie White led Clark to face an offensive slump in the initial few games. However, she seems to be more comfortable with her game now.
