Physical tussles might not be common in the WNBA as they are in the NBA, but Caitlin Clark doesn’t back off from a fight. In a recent social media post, she flexed her muscular build while in a practice session on the court. Another WNBA player, Kate Martin, was in the comment section to appreciate the Indiana Fever star, but with a challenge.
Clark is in the offseason and has been working on her injuries from the last season. She did not participate in the 3v3 Unrivaled league, where a majority of WNBA players are honing their skills. In a workout session, she uploaded a picture of her build, showing off her arms in a shooting posture.
The Golden State Valkyries guard Kate Martin took to the comment section and wrote:
“Gun Show”
Replying to Martin’s comment, the 2024 Rookie of the Year responded with a challenge to her rival. She wrote:
“let’s fight”
Martin happily accepted the challenge and suggested that it would be an easy task for her:
“easy dub”
Clark has been an idol to several women players in the country and has brought a lot of attention to the league. She continuously works on improvement and is known for her sharp shooting abilities.
Caitlin Clark even kicked off her broadcasting career this offseason, as she was made part of the team by NBC and was seen before the New York Knicks vs. the LA Lakers’ marquee game. She will now be part of the women world cup squad.
Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and others join Team USA’s roster 2026 FIBA World Cup
Three highly touted WNBA players, Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, and Paige Bueckers, will be seen together on the court, playing in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIBA Women’s World Cup in San Juan, Puerto Rico, scheduled for March 11-17.
In addition to Clark, Reese and Bueckers, other players making their senior national team debut include Sonia Citron and Kiki Iriafen. Head coach of the Duke women’s basketball team Kara Lawson will lead the team in the tournament.
