Caitlin Clark Adorably Shows Love to Fever Coach For Being Honored With Bobbleheads by Alma Mater

Caitlin Clark was delighted to see a bobblehead that was dedicated to Indiana Fever assistant coach Briann January by her alma mater, the University of Arizona. The former WNBA player and the 2012 WNBA champion was a standout baller from Arizona State, and recently had a bobblehead presented to her on the Fever practice court.

The Indian Fever guard and superstar, Caitlin Clark, was also in attendance at the time and had an adorable response, as she said:

“You have been bobbled Bri Jan. Can I have one?”

Clark has talked about her relationship with January several times and explained the impact her coaching has had on the Fever guard’s game, especially defense. While several other WNBA players have become part of the 3v3 Unrivaled league, Clark has not participated due to several lower-body injuries. However, she has decided to spend the offseason differently.

As the Fever’s assistant coach enjoys the achievement, which is a big respect from her alma mater, Clark is also set to keep her foot in broadcasting. She was recently announced as NBC’s broadcasting analyst.

Caitlin Clark set to kick off her first broadcasting duties

NBC has announced Caitlin Clark as the national broadcaster, and she will be a special contributor for the debut of Basketball Night in America live from Madison Square Garden in New York on February 1. This will be the lead-up to the marquee game between the LA Lakers and the New York Knicks.

The 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year expressed her excitement for the segment and praised her panel, which will consist of former NBA players Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, and Carmelo Anthony. She said:

“I’m really excited to be part of the Basketball Night in America crew this season. Carmelo, Vince, and Tracy are legends of the game and Maria is a true professional. It will be really fun to join them a few times this season.”

The leading scorer in the NCAA and a 2-time All-Star will surely bring a lot of insights to her analyst role, even though fans and other basketball analysts have a divided opinion on that. She will return to the same role on March 29, in Oklahoma City, before the OKC Thunder take on the Denver Nuggets.
