Serena Williams’ Long-Awaited Tennis Practice Clip Released By Alycia Parks Amid Comeback Rumors

Serena Williams’ potential comeback to professional tennis has been making the rounds in the media and among fans since she joined the ITIA anti-doping drug testing pool last year. February 22 marked six months since she joined the pool, making her eligible to play competitive tennis once again.

The former World No. 1 had been teasing fans by sharing photos from possible training sessions, including drills and work on her serve. On Monday, Williams was seen practicing groundstrokes for the first time during an intense training session with fellow American Alycia Parks.

“Them: “What do you do in your spare time”?🤔 Me: “Oh, you know, I help GOATS,” Parks captioned the Instagram post. In the video, both Parks and Williams are seen engaged in a hard-hitting rally, marking the first clip from the tennis icon’s training session and refueling rumors of a potential comeback this year.

While many had predicted that Williams would play doubles at the ATX Open alongside her elder sister, Venus Williams, that didn’t happen, and the analysts quickly ruled out a potential comeback at Indian Wells as well. Clearly, Williams will take her time deciding on the best course of action for her in the coming weeks/months.

Serena Williams Wore Her Dancing Shoes, Showcasing Agility Since Using the GLP-1s

Over the past year, Williams has actively promoted the GLP-1 weight-loss drugs from Ro, even going one step further by becoming the medicine company’s patient ambassador.

Most recently, she was featured in an ad campaign for Ro, which was aired during Super Bowl LVI, where the tennis legend could be seen promoting the GLP-1 inhibitors while dancing and thriving.

Last week, Williams shared an image from a function where she could be seen dancing on the floor with her friends. “She’s a dancing, dancing, dancing…She’s a dancing machine,” Williams captioned the Instagram post.

Since using the weight loss drugs, Williams has shed those extra pounds, which she stated was difficult to lose even during her playing days. The 44-year-old American had previously claimed she feels better, more active, agile, and light since she started using the GLP-1 inhibitors.
