Serena Williams has been embracing motherhood since 2017, and especially after stepping away from professional tennis in 2022. The legendary American is a happy mother to two girls, Olympia and Adira, whom she shares with her husband, Alexis Ohanian.
Williams is frequently seen sharing sweet moments from her daily life with her kids on social media. On Monday, she shared a cryptic post on X, offering an update on her life amid rumors of a comeback to professional tennis this year.
“I’m so tired I can feel fatigue in my feet. These kids…” Williams wrote on X.
The post could be Williams giving an update on her life as a successful entrepreneurial mother who is running around to take care of her kids, or it could be the iconic player giving a subtle hint toward her intense tennis practice session with fellow American Alycia Sparks.
Williams was seen in an intense training session with Sparks, as the tennis legend is now eligible to re-enter the WTA circuit after completing six months in the International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) anti-doping pool.
With frequent training sessions and Williams dropping hints on social media, fans and analysts have begun placing bets on which tournament and discipline could be most favorable for the tennis icon’s potential comeback.
Serena Williams is Loving the Season of Motherhood
In an Instagram post from last week, Williams shared a transition video of herself trying on different outfits while enjoying motherhood, spending quality time with her two kids at home, and caring for them. Little Adira can also be seen in the video with a toothbrush in her mouth, as Williams then lovingly picks her up.
Over the past year, Williams has used and endorsed GLP-1 inhibitors from Ro, which are used to treat Type-2 diabetes and are essentially helpful in weight loss. Since actively using them, Williams has significantly lost weight, which she said was impossible even during her playing days.
The weight loss has helped the tennis star move better, be more agile, and experience pain-free joint movement, as she thrives in her new life, allowing her to stay more focused and multitask efficiently. Only time will tell when Williams chooses to bring her immense talents to the court.
