Fresh off defending his Wimbledon title, Jannik Sinner appeared relaxed at Wimbledon’s Champions Ball as he took to the dance floor with Linda Noskova, who won her maiden Wimbledon title this year. The Italian also confessed on stage that he was a little tipsy and hilariously warned the presenter to avoid asking any tough questions.
Sinner beat Alexander Zverev in the Wimbledon final on Sunday to successfully defend his title. Later that evening, Sinner joined a host of other elite stars from the All England Club for the Champions’ Dinner and Ball. As is tradition, he and Noskova shared a dance. When a presenter tried to engage him in a conversation before the dance, Sinner said:
“Don’t ask me complicated questions: I’m tipsy.”
He then revealed, according to Corriere Della Sera, how he failed his motorcycle test for the fourth time before coming to London:
“I failed my motorcycle license test for the fourth time before coming to London. Maybe it’s better if I just play tennis.”
Jannik Sinner and Linda Noskova danced to Justin Timberlake’s Can’t Stop the Feeling, electrifying the historic ballroom.
The event hosted about 270 guests, including Sinner’s parents, who sat at Table No. 1, close to the stage.
