“Emma Raducanu Is So Washed” – Fans Brutally Slam Brit After Crashing Out Against Amanda Anisimova In Under An Hour At Indian Wells

Emma Raducanu’s run in the BNP Paribas Open ended as she lost her third-round match to Amanda Anisimova in just 54 minutes. The American played aggressive tennis, easily surpassing Raducanu, dropping only two games in the entire match.

With the loss, the pressure for consistency and a title continues to mount on the Brit amid ongoing uncertainty surrounding her coaching changes since the Australian Open. Raducanu couldn’t get her game going on Sunday night, and Anisimova took advantage of every opportunity to dominate the former US Open champion.

Fans were quick to comment on the one-sided match that resulted in Raducanu’s heartbreaking exit at Indian Wells. They applauded Anisimova’s brilliance on court. At the same time, many called out Raducanu for the lack of consistency in recent events.

“Raducanu is so washed by now,” one fan commented.

“New coach incoming and more importantly, new sponsor for Raducanu,” another fan commented.

“Scoreline flatters Raducanu. Looked totally uninterested. Jogged for balls, was a sitting duck for the most part,” yet another fan commented.

Some fans called out Emma Raducanu for failing to meet expectations against the top seeds, easily giving up on rallies and points.

“Raducanu doesn’t belong in the top pros. She’s good enough to win a couple of rounds here and there. But she can’t keep up with the real elites week in week out,” one fan commented.

“When Raducanu steps on court against the top players, she automatically gives up; besides making just 2 winners in a match is diabolical,” another fan commented.

“It’s interesting to me that Emma’s always very competitive against Sabalenka and Pegula yet gets easily blown off the court by other players inside the top ten, although curious to see how she’d fare against the likes of Andreeva, Paolini, and Mboko,” yet another fan commented.

Emma Raducanu Set To Play In Miami Open Next

Emma Raducanu came the closest to a WTA title at the Transylvania Open last month. She lost the final to homegirl Sorana Cirstea and, since then, has been outperformed by her opponents in subsequent tournaments.

A lacklustre run in the Middle East swing and a disappointing start to the Sunshine Swing are only adding to her ongoing struggles on court as the Brit fails to find rhythm in her gameplay.

For now, the former US Open champion will shift her focus to the Miami Open, another WTA 1000 event, which serves as the final tournament of the Sunshine Double before the players get into the clay-court festivities in the lead-up to the French Open.
