Danielle Collins Flaunts Rare Olympic Pin Collection While Binging Winter Games 2026

Danielle Collins has been away from professional tennis while following other gigs like tennis commentary, podcasting and currently binge watching 2026 Winter Olympics that have been taking place in Milano-Cortina, Italy. She last played in the 2025 US Open.

In her latest Instagram post, Collins revealed that her favorite Olympic memory is “collecting and trading pins.” Collins has been glued to the TV the last couple of weeks watching the Olympic Games, including events like hockey, figure skating, curling, skeleton, snowboarding, and skiing.

The one thing Collins treasures from her time in Olympic Village is a tradition among athletes who trade country-specific pins.

“I keep my Olympic pins in this special candy box from almost 100 years ago. I found this while antiquing, one of my proudest antique finds,” Collins said. “There wasn’t anything quite special enough to hold my Olympic pins because they do mean so much to me and when I found this, I thought, you know, I think this might be able to do the trick and I keep it on my coffee table here behind me and when people come over, it’s one of the first things I like to pull out and show people because I think it’s just so special.”

Collins spoke proudly about the time she spent in the Village, calling it a “special experience” as she got to meet “some of the most well-accomplished bada** people that I’ve ever met in my entire life and was just so honored to be in the same room.” She is excited that she maintains a keepsake to reflect on those special memories.

Danielle Collins Adds New Professional Title In Tennis

Danielle Collins ended the 2025 season ranked No. 64. She was 5-4 in Grand Slams and 15-14 overall. Not a good year by any means, but Collins is already thinking beyond just being a player.

After her elimination in the 2025 US Open, she shut down her tennis playing career on account of back injury recovery and freezing her eggs. She note down this stuff in an Instagram post where she also mentioned her gig with Tennis Channel, her first foray into tennis media.

“I’ve been taking the last few months off to recover from the back injury I had at the end of the season,” she wrote. “I’ve also been undergoing a few egg freezing procedures 🥳🥚 It’s been one of the coolest things I’ve honestly ever done! But at the same time these hormones I have had to be on are a real b**** 🤣🎢

“I am so fortunate for the friends that have been helping take care of me during this time 🤍 I have one more procedure to go. With all of this, I will not be competing during the first part of the year. But you will be seeing me in a different capacity with @tennischannel 🎤 This is all I will be sharing for now. More updates to come 😉”

Danielle Collins has become active in the media through different platforms. She is an expert commentator on the Tennis Channel and has appeared on tennis podcasts like “Served” with former US Open champion Andy Roddick.
