Ben Shelton and his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, were recently seen sharing a warm moment. After ending his Dallas Open run in the final, following a defeat against fellow American player Taylor Fritz, Shelton made an appearance at the Sunshine Double.

Learner Tien bested Shelton in the third round of the Indian Wells Masters. The Florida-based tennis player entered the Miami Open as the fan favorite but suffered a first-round exit. The unseeded Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko dominated 6-7(3), 7-6(3), 6-3. Following this, he entered the clay court season by competing at the ATP 250 tournament in Houston.

He was overpowered by the ATP No. 83 Thiago Agustin Tirante of Argentina 7-6 (5), 6-3, 6-4. Aid the clay court season and underwhelming runs, he was seen spending time with his girlfriend, Trinity Rodman. The soccer player recently shared pictures from what seemed to be the American tennis player’s practice session.

While he was seen in his training outfit, Rodman was wearing a black tank top with denim and Adidas’ animal print sneakers. One of the pictures even showed the couple sharing a warm kiss, which the spectators and camerapersons couldn’t miss. Sharing the warm moment, Rodman wrote:

“Just cuz 🤍 @benshelton.”

A few days earlier, after Shelton’s defeat at ATP Houston, Rodman shared a mirror selfie with her beau on her Instagram story and posted a note that said:

“Love you.”

Shelton will make his next outing at the BMW Open in Munich.

Ben Shelton Shares His Opinion On Why Most of American Players Pulled Out From Monte Carlo Masters

Ben Shelton and a few other American players, including Frances Tiafoe, Tommy Paul and Taylor Fritz, were absent from the 2026 Monte Carlo Masters. Only Emilio Nava from the USA was present in the main draw. Ahead of his BMW Open appearance, Shelton opined on why the American players opted out of the Monte Carlo Masters, stating that the European clay and grass court season is long and he wanted to give himself an extra week at home.

“One of the most important aspects of clay is being able to adapt week to week,” Shelton said. “You get completely different conditions in certain tournaments. Madrid is the opposite of Rome, Paris has its own unique way that it plays. So I think that’s what’s most important for me, getting out there and competing right away after Miami is what I wanted to do. Last year I played Monte Carlo, I’ve played it twice before, I’ve done it back and forth.”

“This is a long European swing for us, so mine (decision to skip Monte Carlo) was more about being here a couple weeks earlier and extending that trip than starting here in Munich. So yeah, we will see how this season goes and each year I think I figure out more what’s best for me.”

Shelton will kick off his Munich run against Nava on Monday.
