PICTURE: Ben Shelton’s Girlfriend Trinity Rodman Reveals Unseen Picture With American As She Consoles Him After Houston Heartbreak

Ben Shelton’s girlfriend, Trinity Rodman, recently showed her unwavering support for her beau following his defeat at the ATP Houston. After concluding his Sunshine Double run with an underwhelming performance, Shelton arrived in Houston as the top seed to compete at River Oaks Country Club.

The American tennis player suffered a defeat against fellow countryman Learner Tien in the third round of the Indian Wells Masters. He entered the Miami Open as the fan favorite but concluded his campaign after an early exit in the first round in his hometown after being bested by unseeded Kazakh Alexander Shevchenko 6-7(3), 7-6(3), 6-3.

His streak of mediocre runs continued at the ATP 250 tournament. The young American tennis player was bested by ATP No. 83 Thiago Agustin Tirante of Argentina.

He clinched the first set with a 7-6 (5) win, but lost the next two 6-3 and 6-4 at the U.S. Men’s Clay Court Championship. Since Shelton’s victory over Taylor Fritz in the Dallas Open championship in February, he hasn’t advanced past the round of 16.

Amid these stuggles his girlfriend stood firmly aside him. She recently shared a mirror selfie with him, where Shelton was seen in his on-court attire, while Rodman opted for a black halter neck T-shirt with black denims. Sharing the picture, Rodman also posted a note that read:

“Love you,” with a heart.

Shelton and Rodman made their relationship public in March 2025 by sharing a mirror selfie on Instagram story. Rodman made her debut in the player’s box at Shelton’s BMW Open semifinals match in Munich in April 2025.

Ben Shelton Reflects On His First Faceoff At The ATP Houston

Ben Shelton faced Zhang Zhizhen in his first round at the ATP Houston. The American served well in his tournament opener with 21 aces. However, he later admitted that he wasn’t comfortable from the rallies on the baseline as it was his first match on clay in almost a year.

“It was my first match in almost a year on clay. I didn’t feel that comfortable playing from the baseline yet; it’s just going to take time and a few matches. I knew I had to be effective with my serve tonight and hit a few aces, and I’m happy that I did,” Shelton said.

He defeated Zhizhen 7-6(5), 7-6(3) to enter the quarterfinals.
