Texas Longhorns coach Stephen Sarkisian’s wife, Loreal Sarkisian, was over the moon as their son, Amays, turned one. On Tuesday, Loreal posted two photos on her Instagram stories.
The first one featured birthday decorations and gifts.
“HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY Asayas… You are so loved!” she wrore in the caption. “Thank you to everyone who has been here since the beginning of his journey!”
The second story showed a precious moment between Loreal and Amays. She lay on the floor wearing a white robe while the baby sat on her knee.
Both were seemingly enjoying some quality mother-son time.
“Happy Birthday baby boy. I love you so much!” Loreal added in the caption.

She announced the birth of her baby boy on April 4 with a series of pictures from her maternity shoot.
“He has arrived. Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude!” Loreal wrote in the caption.
Stephen Sarkisian and Loreal Sarkisian welcomed their first child five years after getting married. One year after tying the knot in 2020, the couple announced they were filing for divorce. However, they reconciled later that year.
Loreal is also a stepmother to Steve’s three children (Ashley, Taylor and Brady) from his previous marriage to Stephanie Sarkisian.

Stephen Sarkisian’s Wife Loreal Made Feelings Known as Texas Longhorns defeated Oklahoma Sooners in 2025 Red River Rivalry
On Oct. 11, the Texas Longhorns defeated the No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners 23-6 in the 121st edition of the Red River Rivalry.
The game was a major defensive statement for Texas, as they held the Sooners without a touchdown for the first time in this rivalry since 1979.
After the game, Stephen Sarkisian’s Wife Loreal gave a major shoutout to the team.
“Wow, Longhorn Nation what a way to show up and win!” she wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations to the entire team, coaches, staff, students, and fans for showing up. Let’s continue to show up and win!”
Stephen replied in the comments section, writing, “What a great way to celebrate your birthday Honey!! 🧡🧡🧡”

Since joining the Texas Longhorns, Stephen has rebuilt the program into a national powerhouse. In 2024, he led Texas to a 13-3 record and an SEC Championship Game berth in its inaugural year in the conference.
Through 2025, he has led the Longhorns to consecutive College Football playoff appearances. Before arriving in Texas, he was the offensive coordinator at Alabama (2019-2020). During Stephen’s stint, he won the Broyles Award (top assistant coach) in 2020 and helped lead Alabama to a national championship.
