Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders and his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, are on a family getaway in St. Croix.
According to a YouTube vlog posted by “Well Off Media” (owned and operated by Deion Sanders Jr., the eldest son of Coach Prime) on Wednesday, the couple was seemingly looking for a home on the island (31:30). Sanders and Tran were inside a property and taking a tour.
At the 33:40 mark, the legendary coach asked Tran while pointing towards the blue ocean:
“Look at this. What do y’all think? You think we should get this?”
Next, he referred to her as “baby” and asked her to enjoy the view with him. In the same vlog, Deion sat down for a rare, candid chat with his son, Deion Jr., and got emotional while talking about Karrueche.
When asked what he loves most about her that the public does not see, Deion did not hold back at all.
“She’s sweet as sugar,” the CU coach said (12:31). “That brown bag of sugar that we grew up with… You look for a lot of folks, especially your family, but you make certain I’m straight — like everything on point. You make sure I got what I need, I got what I want, and I’m straight.”
In the same YouTube vlog, Karrueche Tran claimed to be shocked by how “down to earth” and “regular” Deion is (15:27). She also mentioned that they both value “peace” above the materialistic side of their lives.
“You like your house, you like the water, you like your lake, you like fishing. You don’t value materialistic things,” she added.
Deion Sanders confirmed his relationship with Karrueche Tran on Dec. 27 on Instagram. He posted a holiday photo of them together.
This followed a Christmas celebration where Karrueche joined the Sanders family and even met his kids.

Karrueche Tran was essentially a caregiver during a very dark time for Deion Sanders. Last July, his son, Deion Sanders Jr., posted a deeply emotional video on Well Off Media titled “For Your Glory.”
It documented the lead-up to Deion’s surgery to remove his bladder after an aggressive cancer diagnosis. Karrueche was seen in the hospital room. She was visibly emotional as she explained the severity of the procedure.
The video also showed her holding Sanders’ hand, as he was wheeled into the five-hour surgery. In October, Tran returned to support him during his 16th surgery.
In a video posted on Instagram by Sanders on Feb. 19, he admitted he struggled with the idea of Tran seeing him at his lowest.
“I told her, ‘You did not sign up for this… I would not be upset if you checked out.’ I did not want her to have to be a nurse,” he said.
Karrueche replied that “dipping” would have been the easy way out and that their rapport was more than just the good times.
Currently, Deion Sanders is cancer-free.
