Sherrone Moore Blames Paige Shiver For Arrest as Tainted Ex-Michigan Boss’ Body Cam Footage Reveals All

Police body cam footage from Sherrone Moore’s arrest was released online by TMZ. The entire video captured by Pittsfield police is nearly two hours long and shows Moore in handcuffs.

In the clip, Moore can be heard crying in a hospital room. He was taken to the medical facility for a mental health evaluation before being booked in the Washtenaw County Jail.

Moore claimed that his executive assistant and alleged mistress, Paige Shiver, planned this revenge against him after he tried to break up with her. He claimed that he “didn’t do anything wrong and would never hurt Shiver.”

Moore said that he “tried to break up with her,” and that “she’s out to get me.” He said he didn’t want things to escalate to this level as he thought breaking up with her or firing her would lead to chaos.

Shiver, the female staff member with whom he allegedly had an affair, claimed that the assault occurred at her home. Moore initially faced felony charges of home invasion and stalking, plus misdemeanor breaking and entering.

“I just got fired … They wanted to fire me anyways,” Moore said in another clip.

Following his arrest, Moore was concerned about the news coming out and him being labeled as a criminal. He said he wanted to reach out to his wife so that he could talk to his kids.

“I don’t wanna hurt myself, man,” he said. “I got a beautiful family, kids.”

Moore pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges in exchange for the dropping of all previous charges. His sentencing is set for April 14.

Sherrone Moore Was Fired for Having an Inappropriate Relationship

Moore first joined the Michigan Wolverines program in 2018 as a tight ends coach. Six years later, he was named the program’s head coach. During his stint as head coach, he went 16-8 overall and 11-6 in the conference.

On December 10, 2025, Michigan announced that they fired Moore for cause, as they found credible evidence that he had been engaged in an inappropriate relationship with a staff member. The investigation into the matter had been going on for months.

On the same day as his firing, Moore was arrested in Saline for an alleged assault.
