What Did AJ Brown Say About Lane Kiffin Leaving Ole Miss For LSU? Super Bowl Winning WR’s Outlook on Tigers’ $91,000,000 Man Explored

Mississippi native AJ Brown is considered one of the greatest players to come out of Ole Miss, with the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver being a two-time All-SEC First Team member. His alma mater was in disarray ahead of the College Football Playoffs when head coach $91 million-worth Lane Kiffin abruptly left the school for LSU before they could play their first playoff game.

He appeared on former Super Bowl champs Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman’s “Dudes on Dudes” podcast, and the topic shifted to his alma mater, Ole Miss. Edelman asked the star wide receiver what was going on at Oxford and asked him if fans should be scared about the post-Lane Kiffin era.

“I don’t know,” said Brown. “. Yeah, they they got Lacy. I really like the running back there, Lacy. And maybe he he put him on his back on his back.” (39:42)

He was talking about Kewan Lacy, a sophomore running back who transferred in from Missouri and is one of the school’s most promising players. This soon led to Gronk asking Brown what he would do if Ole Miss approached him and asked for NIL money, and the wide receiver just answered with a simple “Nope.”

AJ Brown also praised that miraculous run that Ole Miss had last season, as the Rebels made it all the way to the final four without the head coach who brought them there. They eventually lost to Miami, but that run had many believing that new head coach Pete Golding could deliver.

Ole Miss QB Deuce Knight Reportedly “Acting Like AJ Brown” After Trinidad Chambliss Return

Meanwhile, it seems that with the return of Trinidad Chambliss to Oxford, the QB who was supposed to replace him is now “acting like AJ Brown.” Auburn insider Micah Farmer blasted the former Tigers QB as he removed any mention of Ole Miss in his social media accounts.

“Knight has removed any mention of Ole Miss Football from his Instagram bio and changed his profile picture on the site to a simple black circle. There were already concerns about Knight’s maturity after the way he chose to leave Auburn while trolling the Tigers’ fan base, and acting like AJ Brown after a game with no catches on social media isn’t going to help that perception,” Farmer wrote.

Brown had been known to post cryptic tweets on social media whenever he is not targeted as much as he wants, and the insider believes that the new Rebels backup QB is doing the same.
