Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone has stunned the track and field community with her strength as she continues training during pregnancy for the 2028 LA Olympics. She recently shared glimpses of the same on her social media handle.
McLaughlin-Levrone was last seen in action during the 2025 season, which she capped off by competing at the World Athletics Championships. Here, she did not compete in her traditional 400m hurdles but focused on the 400m flat race and stood atop the podium by recording 48.78s. This marked the second-fastest time in history. In the 2026 season, fans won’t be able to witness the exceptional deliveries of the runner as she is taking her season off.
In January 2026, she announced that she is pregnant with her first child and will take a break for the entire season to focus on her health and family. However, amid this hiatus, the world champion hasn’t stopped hustling, as she is seen training even during pregnancy. In her latest post on Instagram, McLaughlin-Levrone posted a bunch of pictures, offering glimpses of her daily life.
It carried a video of her training for the upcoming 2028 LA Olympics run with her visible baby bump. Along with this, she shared several other pictures of spending quality time with her husband, Andre Levrone. The post’s caption read:
“A little bit of life☺️.”
