Olivia Dunne recently dropped a sweet reaction to her boyfriend, Paul Skenes’ latest performance for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Skenes pitched 8 scoreless innings against the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 6, allowing only two hits with seven strikeouts in a 1-0 shutout victory.
This performance marked his second dominant start in three games. Dunne, one of his biggest supporters, posted about his victory on her Instagram story.
“Absolutely Striking!!!” she wrote.

Dunne retired from gymnastics in April 2025 after the 2025 NCAA Championships. She didn’t compete in the event due to an injury, and her team lost in the semi-final.
Skenes and Dunne have been dating since 2023 after meeting through mutual friends. They confirmed their relationship in August 2023.
When Olivia Dunne opened up about the one rule that she and Paul Skenes follow in their relationship
In August 2025, Olivia Dunne spoke to People Magazine about her bond with Paul Skenes. She opened up about the rules they adhere to in their relationship, revealing how they help keep it healthy.
“I think that everything is a two-way road, so being fair. We don’t restrict each other from doing things. I’ve been in relationships in the past like that, where it’s almost like you have a leash on you; you can’t do anything. But he has a job to do, and I have a job to do. I know that’s so important for two young kids in a relationship to realize. So yeah, we just have a good time, and it’s a two-way road,” said Olivia Dunne.
Weighing in on supporting her boyfriend, she added:
“I’m trying to go to as many baseball games as I can. I really just enjoy watching him, and he’s always on the go. He’s an athlete, so I get it. I get the grind.”
