Alysa Liu made her feelings known about her gold medal performance at the 2026 Winter Olympics

After winning gold in the individual free skate, Alysa Liu opened up to Olympics.com about her performance and reflected on her outing on the ice. Revealing what the crowd meant to her and how excited she was to compete, she made her feelings known about what it meant for her to perform on the Olympic stage.

“It was just bliss. I was so happy to be there. I felt like I was floating, and I felt like the crowd carried me, and I did everything I wanted to do. I was peak happiness when I was out there on the ice. Nothing could bring me higher than that. I don’t feel pressure. I feel excited to be there and happy. That’s the stage I always wanted to show my programs on, show my dress off and just get myself out there, and I would do it again,” said Alysa Liu.

    She added:

“My mentality is always the same, but here at Olympics, it’s a little extra special because the stage is so big. So it gets me even more hyped, and my family and friends are in the crowd and they support me through everything and so, its just all perfect.”
