“Safe Place for All the Young Girls”- Ex Nebraska Volleyball Player Maisie Boesiger on the Power of She Sports for Young Female Athletes

Former Nebraska volleyball player Maisie Boesiger recently highlighted the impact of She Sports on young female athletes, claiming that the app brings everything that an athlete needs in one space. The She Sports app offers positive content for young female players and creates NIL opportunities for college athletes.

In an interview with SheSports, Boesiger said that when she was young, there wasn’t an easily accessible platform where athletes could learn from their role models. She also expressed her pride in being in a position where she can share her college experiences to help the younger athletes.

“When I was a young girl, there was not a platform like this, an area where I could go to as a young girl in sports and follow my role models and watch played you on and off on court and I think it’s awesome that I now on flipside, get to be one of the athletes who get to share about my college experiences and help the younger athletes,” Boesiger said.

“I think its important to cover everything because there are a lot of social media platforms but they don’t cover all the aspects and I think this is a great app that combines every single aspect that we deal with as athletes and it’s gonna be a safe place for all the young girls to be able to do everything that we and get to learn,” she added.

She Sports was co-founded by former Huskers’ libero Lexi Rodriguez.

When Former Nebraska Volleyball Player Lexi Rodriguez Highlighted Teammate Maisie Boesiger’s Joyous Nature

Former Nebraska volleyball player Lexi Rodriguez once highlighted her teammate Maisie Boesiger’s joyful nature, claiming that she portrays her true self on social media. Rodriguez added that since Boesiger brings the same energy to training, she has a positive impact on the team.

“She is her authentic self, whether that’s in person or on social media,” Rodriguez said last November (via si.com). “Some people are like, ‘How is she so happy?’ I don’t know how she does it, but that bubbly personality that she shows online, that is her true, authentic self, and that’s what she’s bringing into the gym every day, and that’s why she has such a big impact on Husker nation in the community, little girls, but also the team as well.”

During her final season with the Big Red team, Rodriguez was nominated for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
