The highly anticipated 2026 NCAA DI Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held on two days, starting on Friday, March 13, 2026. The tournament will be held at the Randal Tyson Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The 2026 edition of the tournament is returning to Arkansas for the first time since 2021. The athletes have earned the spot to compete at the Indoor Championships with their qualifying performances from November 28, 2025, to March 1, 2026. Top contenders at the 2026 NCAA DI Indoor Track and Field Championships
Multiple notable athletes will compete in the men’s and women’s track and field events at the 2026 NCAA DI Indoor Track and Field Championships. The women’s 60m will be headlined by Shenese Walker, who hasn’t lost a 60-meter race all season and ran the fastest collegiate 60m with 7.09s at the Razorback Invitational.
Last year’s indoor champion, Adaejah Hodge of Georgia, will compete to defend her title in the 200m. The 60 m collegiate record holder Kanyinsola Ajayi will represent Auburn University at the upcoming NCAA Indoor Championships.
His fellow teammate Ja’Kobe Tharp will vie to defend the title in the 60 m hurdles event. Tarik Robinson-O’Hagan, who won the last two indoor titles, will lead the lineup in the men’s shot put event.
