    Maisie Boesiger’s sister, Malorie Boesiger, has solidified her position in the volleyball community by earning a spot on the 1% final list. The former Nebraska volleyball player cheered for her sister, sharing an emotional reaction on social media.

    Malorie, who is from Norris High School, is following her sister’s path. She is committed to the University of Nebraska for her academic and volleyball career. She will join the team as a setter in the 2027 season. She has built her reputation through consistent performances, leadership on the court, and a mature game for her age.

    These qualities have not gone unnoticed by evaluators, making her selection to the 1% final list a reflection of both her current impact and future promise. Along with players like Sophee Peterson, Marlie Smith, Sophia Dostic, and more, Malorie Boesiger was also celebrated by the Elite Setter Combine for their selection on the 1% list.

    They shared a post, appreciating the players on Instagram, which drew Maisie Boesiger’s attention. She could hardly contain her pride as she reshared the post on her Instagram story and penned a caption that read:

    “My sister is a superstar!!!” @malorieboesiger🤩🤩.”

    The 1% final list is widely regarded as one of the most exclusive honors in youth volleyball, spotlighting athletes who separate themselves from the rest of the field through performance and work ethic. For Malorie, earning this recognition is another major milestone in her volleyball career.

    What Were Maisie Boesiger’s Thoughts on Representing the Nebraska Volleyball Team in Her Collegiate Career?

    After Nebraska’s final match of the 2025 regular season, Maisie Boesiger weighed in on playing for the Huskers in her collegiate career. The final match was against Ohio State, where she registered 13 digs and five assists, helping her team win.

    After this match, Boesiger, who has been playing with the Huskers since 2022, addressed the media. Opening up about her thoughts on her final regular-season game, she said (2:01 onwards):

    “I was so excited and just so grateful. I have loved Nebraska volleyball my whole life and once again, it was just like a dream come true and I just wanted to take in every single minute. It kind of felt like the stadium match where I woke up and I was like, ‘Okay, I’m going to enjoy every second today.’ And that’s kind of how I went into this day feeling.”

     

    Maisie Boesiger’s role as a libero on the Nebraska volleyball team ended on December 14 after her team lost to Texas A&M in the regional final of the 2025 NCAA volleyball championships.
