Laney Choboy Poses in Pink Bikini as Nebraska Beach Volleyball Hits Florida

Nebraksa Huskers DS/Libero Laney Choboy recently treated herself to a good time in Florida, where she was seen indulging in swimming.

This comes as the Nebraska Huskers have hit Florida during spring break. They are scheduled to compete against New College of Florida after having beaten Palm Beach State.

While on a break, Laney Choboy was seen posing in multiple positions, just across the swimming pool, donning a two-piece pink bathing suit. All the while, she could be seen smiling at the camera alone. Many users reacted to the photos with awe, while fellow teammate Campbell Flynn also greeted her in the comments section.

“FL from my pov,” She captioned the post.

The Indy Ignite’s Taylor Landfair, who had previously been part of Nebraska, also reacted to the post, calling it a reminder of an island mermaid. Andi Jackson, Karsyn Leeling, and Keri Leimbach also left a comment under the post. The Huskers won two matches on Saturday in Leesburg, Florida, defeating Palm Beach State and Lake-Sumter State College.

Choboy, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, is billed at a height of 5-foot-3 and belongs to the senior class. She competed at the U.S. Girls U18 and U19 and won a gold with the U19 team at the 2022 Pan American Cup. She played in all 36 matches during her sophomore year and averaged 1.53 digs per set with 36 set assists.

Laney Choboy Gets Real About Impact of Nebraska Volleyball on her Mindset

Laney Choboy has made an impact with her defensive presence on the court and has been vocal on how her current tenure with the Huskers has helped reshape her mindset.

She was specific in highlighting her mindset shift during her time in Lincoln, which made her focus more on the mental aspect of competing.

“It was more my mentality and just how I was going to go about things and what I was going to let affect me, what I was going to let into my body and my heart, and how I was going to play rather than me working on the technical side, which obviously I did, too, but I think the mental side was a huge difference for me,” she said during a press conference.

Despite playing both defensive and libero, she also spoke about the lasting legacies of former liberos Lexi Rodriguez and Justine Wong-Orantes and highlighted her passion to build on their legacy.

The Nebraska Huskers are scheduled to compete next Monday against the State College of Florida and on Tuesday against the New College of Florida.
