Nebraska volleyball star Harper Murray shared a heartwarming moment with Boone, the son of coach Dani Busboom Kelly.
Players from the Nebraska team were seen sitting together for an evening hangout before their clash with Iowa. As the team prepared for the showdown, coach Kelly’s son, Boone, made an appearance.
Busboom Kelly and Murray both shared the moment on social media.
“This boy doesn’t know how lucky he is sharing this company,” wrote Dani.

Against a serene backdrop full of city lights, Murray sat with her teammates, holding Kelly’s son, all gathered around a fire pit. The cozy team evening highlighted a moment of calm before the high-stakes Iowa clash.
Dani Busboom Kelly Talks about how Seniors Have Adjusted to Indoors
Dani Bushboom Kelly recently spoke about the Huskers’ previous setbacks and highlighted the team’s diligence in practice. During a press conference, Kelly highlighted the seniors’ efforts to quickly transition back indoors after a grueling beach season.
“We’re in a unique situation with the beach, and so indoor is so quick, but I think they’ve all embraced jumping in the indoor and not letting the team have any excuses for making that transition and understanding that we do have a deep roster and we’re not gonna start out slow, so, I think they’ve come in with this great mindset and everybody’s kinda followed along,” she said (7:18).
She also mentioned that the small facility has not stopped the team from giving its best during practice sessions.
The Huskers will face Iowa State on Saturday, April 11, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
