Nebraska star Harper Murray and coach Dani Busboom Kelly were recently seen enjoying an LOVB game together. They attended LOVB Nebraska’s faceoff against LOVB Houston on Sunday, January 11, at Baxter Arena in Omaha, Nebraska.
While Murray was present to show her support for her former Husker teammate Lexi Rodriguez, Busboom Kelly delivered the first serve of the game. LOVB Nebraska shared a picture of them on Instagram and wrote:
“@harpermurrayy came to support today ❤️💚.”
They also gave a glimpse of Busboom Kelly’s serve:
“Nebraska volleyball coach Dani Busboom Kelly with the first serve today!! ❤️💚.”
Busboom Kelly was named the ambassador of the LOVB Nebraska team. The new role requires the coach to be part of the team’s community, implement the team’s policies on athlete development, and expand the volleyball ecosystem.
Busboom Kelly became the Huskers’ head coach in January 2025, replacing the legendary John Cook, who led them for 25 years.
