Former Nebraska volleyball player Maisie Boesiger recently gave fans a glimpse into her life away from volleyball, sharing moments of a skiing outing alongside friends and boyfriend Nolan Schwarting during the excitement of the Winter Olympics season. She posted glimpses of posing on the slopes with her friends and fiancé on her social media.
Boesiger wrapped up her collegiate career with the Nebraska volleyball team after the 2025 NCAA Championships. She produced dominant performances throughout the season, helping the team maintain an unbeaten streak. However, the team’s journey came to an end on December 14 at the regional finals. They lost to Texas A&M, who claimed a 3-2 win.
With this, Boesiger’s time at the Cornhuskers also came to an end. She is now working as the senior defensive specialist for the Nebraska volleyball team. The 22-year-old is also part of SheSports, a free app that connects female student athletes. Currently, she is enjoying her time away from the court, enjoying the winters with her friends and Schwarting.
The former Nebraska player posted a few pictures from the skiing outing on Instagram. From posing in selfies and striking poses with her friends, she also posed while skiing on the slopes. In addition to this, Boesiger also shared endearing snaps with her fiancé, Schwarting

After building an illustrious career at Nebraska Volleyball, Maisie Boesiger has stepped into real life and is now experiencing real life with her fiancé, Nolan Schwaring. The couple bought a new house together, and in a recent interview with Hail Varsity, she opened up about how her life after Nebraska volleyball has been.
She was asked about her thoughts on embarking on a new chapter of her life and how the whole experience of buying a new house with her fiancé has been. Replying to this, Boesiger said:
“Yeah, it’s been crazy, but honestly a pretty smooth transition, smoother than I might have thought it would have been. I’ve loved moving into the house and just getting everything settled in there, and it’s fun. I’m finding it’s different, but I enjoy it,” said Maisie Boesiger.
She added:
“We weren’t necessarily trying to buy a house when we did. We went on tour on Sundays just like on Zillow when they were open, but I walked in this house and I literally fell in love, so I was like, “I have to have it, Nolan, like this is the one,” and then everything ended up working out. I love the decorating. We just got all of our furniture this week from 7 Day Furniture. They came and unloaded everything, so that was amazing.”
Maisie Boesiger got engaged to Nolan Schwarting in May 2025, and the proposal took place in Hawaii. She shared glimpses of the dreamy proposal on her Instagram handle.
