Eileen Gu Stuns in an Elegant White Gown While Celebrating Graduation Weekend at Stanford University

Eileen Gu turned heads with her classy outfit as she offered glimpses of her graduation weekend at Stanford University. She gained early admission to the university in December 2020 and officially joined the freshman class in the fall of 2022.

Gu recently solidified her legacy in the freestyle skiing community after winning three medals at the 2026 Winter Olympics. With these wins, she currently holds six Olympic medals, making her the most decorated freestyle skier in Olympic history. In Milan-Cortina, she won a gold medal in the women’s halfpipe and two silver medals in the women’s big air and women’s slopestyle.

Following her campaign in Italy, she embraced various events with her presence, including the Met Gala. Most recently, she made a surprise appearance at the Monaco Grand Prix, where she was seen meeting Lewis Hamilton and presenting the Pirelli Pole Position award to Kimi Antonelli.

Shortly after this appearance, she shared glimpses of her graduation celebration at Stanford University. Taking to her Instagram story, she posted a bunch of pictures from the celebration, where she stunned in an elegant and classy white gown. She penned a caption in her story that read:

Eileen Gu initially explored quantum physics; however, she later chose to continue with an international relations major for her graduation.

When Eileen Gu called herself a ‘nerd’ and opened up about studying quantum physics

In 2023, Eileen Gu sat for a conversation with Olympics.com, where she weighed in on choosing quantum physics at Stanford University. She revealed that outside of skiing, she was a ‘nerd,’ and opening up about the reason for choosing the subject, she said that she has always been drawn to achieving the impossible.

“Outside of skiing I am a huge nerd. I really like to learn and to stretch my mind. That’s what I really love about quantum physics; it’s very conceptual and it makes you question the nature of reality. That’s very fascinating to me because in my own way, when I’m skiing, I guess I’m bending the laws of what’s possible in the first place. Achieving the impossible has always been something that has drawn me in, so that’s where I see the parallel between quantum physics and skiing,” said Eileen Gu.

She further spoke about her student life, adding:

“I’ve been a full-time student my whole life. But going back to being a full-time student after taking two years to be a professional skier is definitely a new step for me. I’m adjusting to working three full-time jobs all year round between fashion, school and skiing. I think being in college is giving me a lot of perspective of going back into the real world, and that has just been so much fun.”

Eileen Gu made her Olympic debut in 2022, where she became the youngest-ever Olympic champion in freestyle skiing after winning two gold medals in big air and halfpipe. In addition to this, she also won a silver medal in slopestyle.
