Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Ty Simpson was recently captured in a video uploaded to social media wherein he shows off his dashing look for this year’s NFL Draft, along with the details that come with it.
On Thursday, Simpson is among the hopeful slew of college football standouts who are vying to hear their names called in the draft and secure a spot in a franchise in the league after an outstanding college tenure.
Before the draft kicks into full gear, though, Simpson was interviewed by sports personality Kay Adams, and in a video posted to X/Twitter, Simpson was asked to describe his draft day outfit. Simpson explained the several hidden and wholesome details that came with his outfit.
Most of these details came from a patch inside his coat, which possesses a lot of words that mean utmost importance to Simpson and his journey.
“But a little, little bit of a swag, traditional-like. And then, I got a patch on the inside that means a lot to me. It’s a symbolism of what I stand for. So, y’all can see. It’s got my name on it. It’s got Micah 5:5, my favorite verse. Martin-made, It’s my hometown. That’s what our saying is in the Simpson household. And D.A.SH, dash is kind of our, my dad’s slogan that he uses for his team,” Simpson said.
Simpson’s full outfit was seen in the aforementioned video, in which the young talent wore a dark blue double-breasted coat with a white long-sleeved shirt and a black tie, along with a matching pair of dark blue slacks. The Martin, Tennessee, native complemented the look with a brown watch and a pair of brown dress shoes. Currently, Simpson is expected to be selected in the late first round to early second round of the draft.

Before he declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, Ty Simpson came off a relatively successful 2025 campaign with coach Kalen DeBoer‘s Alabama Crimson Tide.
In the said season, they finished with an overall record of 11-4 (7-1 SEC), and made it all the way to the quarterfinals of the college football playoff.
Unfortunately for Simpson, he and his team lost to the eventual national champions, 38-3.
