New England Patriots rookie running back and kickoff returner TreVeyon Henderson will be playing the game of his life on Sunday as he and his team take on the Seattle Seahawks during Super Bowl LX.
As a rookie, he is not as rich as some of his teammates, as he is still in the first year of his rookie contract. However, he is making waves as part of the Patriots special teams and a backup running back.
For his rookie contract, he signed a four-year agreement with the Patriots worth $11,143,234 with a signing bonus of $4,744,168. His 2025-26 salary’s cap hit is around $2,532,553 and his cash is reportedly around $1,346,511, which has totaled to $5,589,325 in career earnings so far.
He has not fully earned that rookie contract yet, this is still his first season in the league after all. The Patriots could give him a deal to extend his contract. For now, he still has to prove himself, and with Super Bowl LX coming right up, he has a big stage to prove himself.
Henderson made a name for himself when he was still in Ohio State, helping the Buckeyes win the national championship last year. He could go back-to-back should the Patriots win the Super Bowl, winning the NCAA National Championship and the Super Bowl in back-to-back years being a massive achievement for a rookie.
TreVeyon Henderson Got Married Just Days Before Super Bowl LX
Aside from making it to the College Football National Championship and the Super Bowl in back-to-back years, TreVeyon Henderson also got a life achievement just days before the Super Bowl: he got married.
The New England Patriots running back revealed that he got married in a private ceremony just days before what could be the biggest game of his life.
“We got engaged first,” he said. “Then we eloped and made it official.”
Henderson proposed to her back in September, ahead of the 2025 NFL season. He revealed that he got married during a podcast appearance on Feb. 2, during “The Walk” podcast.
