Former New England Patriots wide receiver and Tom Brady’s teammate Julian Edelman was among the host of celebrities who turned up for the wedding of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and global pop star Taylor Swift. The wedding took place on Friday at Madison Square Garden, with heightened security and privacy measures in place.
Edelman, who attended the wedding in a black tuxedo, shared a photo on X with fellow former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and his girlfriend, Camille Kostek. They took a selfie from inside a car.
In the caption, Edelman, who is worth $25 million (as per CelebrityNetWorth), shared a heartfelt message to cheer on the new beginnings of Swift and Kelce.
“One hell of a (love) story,” he wrote. “Congrats to Taylor and Travis 🍾 Unbelievable day celebrating two incredible people.”
Edelman is good friends with Kelce through NFL circles and media appearances. So, his attendance wasn’t surprising.
Approximately 1,000 guests were invited to the wedding that was officiated by comedian Adam Sandler. Other high-profile attendees reportedly included Ed Sheeran, Selena Gomez, Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, and Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, who served as best man.

Tom Brady also attended the wedding. However, according to a Page Six report, the seven-time Super Bowl champion quietly exited the venue in a waiting SUV while the celebration was still ongoing. He was captured wearing a classic black suit and tie.
He was not alone in doing so.
The same report mentioned that comedian Chris Rock and actor Hugh Grant and his wife, Anna Eberstein, also left the venue early.
The “I do” messages were displayed on MSG screens at around 7:30 p.m. ET, with the tagline “JUST&T MARRIED!”
At the wedding reception, 84-year-old musician Paul McCartney performed The Beatles’ No. 1 hit “I Want to Hold Your Hand” on Friday, a source told People. Moreover, Steve Nicks, a longtime mentor of Swift, also performed.
According to Swift’s publicist Tree Paine, her brother, Austin, was her “Man of Honor.” The Page Six report also noted that the “Blank Space” singer and the tight end wore Christian Dior Haute Couture for their wedding ceremony.
