It has already been a few weeks since Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift got married inside Madison Square Garden in New York City. The wedding was a star-studded affair, with some of the biggest names in sports and music in attendance, and some of those who were there are now talking about the experience.
One of those in attendance was play-by-play announcer Joe Buck, who revealed that Kelce was very emotional and in tears the moment his bride, Swift, walked down the aisle.
“Their vows were long, they were really well-written, they were funny, they were sweet, they were emotional, and Travis was a puddle watching his nieces come down the ramp and when she (Taylor) walked out, he was a puddle,” Buck said on Starkville podcast.
Buck noted that there was a very real wedding atmosphere going on, saying that “it felt like they were really getting married” and not just a “ceremonial thing.”
The sportscaster also added that as the ceremony started, their phones were also taken, which showed just how much security was given for the event. He also noted that this measure somehow got them to relax more and enjoy the moment.
Podcaster Gushes Over Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Wedding
Others have slowly been addressing the Swift and Kelce wedding as well, including celebrity podcaster Owen Thiele. He spoke with People magazine during a Teen Vogue event and called the event “magic.”
“Este Haim said the most brilliant thing about Taylor’s wedding. She said that in 50 years she’ll write a tell-all and I’ll be reading that and I’ll add a quote. I’ll add a quote in 50 years,” Thiele said. “For now, I’m not saying anything, but Taylor’s magic and so is Travis.”
Swift and Kelce got married on July 3rd, and there was a lot of secrecy going on ahead of the wedding. Several blocks near MSG were closed off while some of the biggest names in music, such as Sir Paul McCartney, performed live.
