It’s been nearly a month since Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married at Madison Square Garden. Several notable celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment were invited to the grand event.
San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle was also in attendance, and during a recent appearance on NBC, the 32-year-old said that he was there to ‘bring vibes.’ Kittle justified his role by wearing a ‘Dumb and Dumber’ inspired outfit with Robert Tonyan.
“Me and Rob Tonyan went to ‘Dumb and Dumber’. We gave Travis a heads up,” Kittle said. “The best part of it was we changed backstage, and the first person that we saw walking out was Travis and Taylor, and they both just broke out laughing at us.”
“I was invited to that wedding to bring vibes and have a good time and party. So, we fulfilled our side of the bargain.”
Even though it’s been almost a month since their marriage, Kelce and Swift have not released wedding pictures for their fans. The fans are also waiting for more details about the big event.
Kittle has been generous with his stories as the 49ers star previously revealed that Kelce and Swift wrote their own vows.
During an appearance on Chris Simms’ Unbuttoned podcast, Kittle said that Kelce and Swift also invited his parents, his wife Claire, and her mother Shelly to their wedding.
“Bruce and Travis have had a relationship since we started Tight End U back in 2021, and Travis likes Bruce a lot. But then the moms got invited because of the Tight End U last year where they hung out with Taylor for a long time,” he said.
Kittle and Kelce became good friends after they co-founded Tight End University alongside Greg Olsen.
George Kittle Provided Achilles Update
George Kittle was injured during the wild card round game against the Philadelphia Eagles last season. It was later revealed that he tore his Achilles tendon, which marked the end of his season.
Recently, Kittle said that he’s hoping to be available for his team from Week 1.
“I like my chances. I really do. I know I’m in a great spot,” Kittle said, as per SI. “Last couple of weeks I was back running routes. I’m definitely not 100%, but I feel like I’m at a spot where I think I can get there by Week 1. So I’m excited about it. I’m not gonna be stupid with it.”
Kittle has made a lot of progress in his recovery so far. If he stays on track, he will likely lace up for his team in their first game of the season against the Los Angeles Rams.
