NFL draft expert Matt Miller shared an emotional update on his car accident that occurred sometime ‘last week’ in a social media post on Monday.
The veteran analyst, who has been working with ESPN since 2021, revealed that the aftermath of the terrifying car crash included multiple fractures, broken ribs, and a life-saving amputation of his left arm.
While Miller recovers from the brutal accident, the draft expert who has also worked on “NFL Live”, “SportsCenter”, and “Get Up”,’ shared his enthusiasm to get back to analysing the 2027 NFL draft prospects and talking football once again.

Police Report Reveals Details Behind Matt Miller’s Car Crash
According to a report published by KOAM News, a Fox-affiliate, Miller’s accident occurred on the evening of June 17 on the Missouri State Highway 96. The accident involved a semi-tractor-trailer and a 2023 Ford Bronco, which was being driven by a 42-year-old man.
The Bronco reportedly crossed the center line before colliding with the trailer. The driver was immediately flown to Mercy Joplin for further treatment. The 42-year-old driver was later identified as Matt Miller.
The person driving the trailer, a 28-year-old Missouri resident, fortunately made out without any major injuries.
