Stefon Diggs is prepared to go under trial for the next couple of days after it began on Monday, 4th May, 2026.
The former Patriots star is currently facing charges for alleged assault towards a chef who used to work at his place.
The assault reportedly took place on December 2nd in Dedham for which Diggs is charged with felony strangulation and a misdemeanor assault and battery charge, which he has pleaded not guilty for.
Mila Adams, the private chef, claimsDiggs smacked her face and attempted to choke her.
Diggs lawyer said on Monday during the trial:
“The assault that the Commonwealth described in their opening statement never happened. It did not happen,” Kettlewell said.
“Just like any other person in this country rich or poor, Mr. Diggs sits here an innocent man and any preconceptions or feelings you have about athletes, wealth or anything else has to be put aside and not let interfere with the oath you just took as jurors.” Kettlewell added.

Mila Adams spoke on the stands about having a sexual relationship with Stefon Diggs prior to him hiring her as his private chef.
While talking about her relationship with Diggs, Adams labeled it “complicated” and shared that the two started out as friends and then turned their situation into a sexual work.
“This is why you don’t hire people you’re involved with. NFL players really out here making rookie mistakes off the field. Hope both sides get justice, but this one’s messy.” One fan said.

Adams further said that they would meet up and hang out regularly before deciding she will work for him in February of 2025.
