When Puka Nacua isn’t on the field, he takes different forms. He becomes an entertainer on live streams, a troll on the internet, and much more as he likes to have fun when he’s not involved in serious football business.
After losing to the Seattle Seahawks in the Conference Championship round, Nacua doesn’t have much to do apart from his brand commitments. So, like the rest of football fans, he watched the Super Bowl from home.
The Seahawks comfortably won the game 29-13. Even though the New England Patriots had a 13-point outburst in the fourth quarter, remaining scoreless in the first three quarters was too much to recover from.
Seattle’s defense was phenomenal, Sam Darnold led the team well, and they executed most of their plays to perfection. But Nacua, being the competitor that he is, decided to poke fun at Darnold during the game.
He took to X and posted a laughing emoji with Darnold’s name. It’s best known to him what he meant by that post. Moments later, he celebrated Cooper Kupp now being a two-time Super Bowl champion by reposting an ESPN graphic.
However, Ernest Jones, the linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks, only focused on the post about Darnold and responded to Nacua.
“Ain’t you at home. Goofy as*,” Jones wrote.
Jones and the Seahawks were the ones who knocked Nacua and the Rams from the Conference Championship round. In fact, the Seahawks defeated the Los Angeles Rams twice this season.
Nacua didn’t respond to Jones’ post, but it’s likely that he will once he sees his response. If he does respond, it’ll make for a funny banter between a current Super Bowl champion and one of the most entertaining wide receivers in the league.
Puka Nacua Hinted at a Date with Sydney Sweeney
During a recent interview, actress Sydney Sweeney was asked about the traits she looks for in her ideal partner. Sweeney said that she’s very adventurous and would like her partner to match that energy.
She stated that going on hikes and skydiving would be one of their favorite activities to do together. After that, Nacua shot his shot at the actress, stating that he loves skydiving. Committed to the bit, he kept adding more details to his hypothetical date with Sweeney.
“I’m just going to jump out of the plane, coach. I’m just going to full send it, no fear. I have that statement on my football cleats, and I stand by it. So, yeah, it’s time to really put it to the test,” Nacua was heard saying in a video posted by Dov Kleiman.
The Rams star also said that he was very nervous and that nervousness had led to him losing a lot of weight. It’s worth noting that Sydney Sweeney is already in a relationship, with someone else, of course.
