The Super Bowl is only a little over a week away, and many fans are already excited. This year, it will be held at Levi’s Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Like so many stadiums, it is not located in the namesake city, but one nearby, and in this case, it is located in nearby Santa Clara, which is just outside San Francisco.
Levi’s Stadium is no stranger to the Super Bowl, as it was also where Super Bowl 50 was held, and it saw the Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers. This was also the last career game for Broncos legend Peyton Manning.
With the Super Bowl being undoubtedly the most-watched game in the sport, trumping the national championship game or any bowl game in college football, or any NFL playoff game, the location for these football games is always important. So, after Santa Clara, where will the Super Bowl head next?
For 2027, it will be staying in California, this time in Southern California, in Inglewood to be precise, as the next host stadium will be SoFi Stadium, the home of both the Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. The Rams won the Super Bowl at home in 2022 by beating the Cincinnati Bengals. It is considered one of the most advanced stadiums in the United States.
After this, in 2028, it will head to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, which was also the host city for the Super Bowl back in 2019, during the Tom Brady dynasty era of the New England Patriots, as they beat the Los Angeles Rams. As expected, this stadium also serves as the home of the Atlanta Falcons and is state-of-the-art.
Meanwhile, the venue for the 2029 Super Bowl has yet to be decided, but there is already a frontrunner.
Which City Is the Possible Location For the Super Bowl in 2029?
As for where the 2029 edition of the Super Bowl will be held, the frontrunner is the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, and like many other current Super Bowl locations, it has hosted the annual event before, in 2024.
Voting has not happened yet, but insiders believe that Vegas is on track to host Super Bowl LXIII in February 2029, with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority having already launched a formal bid to host.
