Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua took a subtle shot at home fans for not attending games at his team’s arena SoFi Stadium, in relation to a regular-season game he will play in 2026-27 outside of the United States.
On Saturday, reporter Dov Kleiman uploaded a video to his X/Twitter account that shows Nacua being a guest in a recent edition of San Francisco 49ers linebacker Fred Warner’s Real Ones: The League show.
In the clip, Warner and Nacua spoke about their upcoming 2026 NFL regular-season game in Australia. Warner pointed out that this could be a home game for Nacua, too, since he has some ties to the country. Nacua then decided to let out a bit of frustration with regards to the SoFi Stadium crowds.
“ And guess what? It’s your home game too. So now, you don’t get a home game. All right. We still get our home game,” Warner pointed out before Nacua replied with an alleged subtle shot toward Rams fans, saying, “ Love it. I’m like, honestly at SoFi, there’s not too many home games.” Warner then responded by sharing, “ I was just about to say now that’s honestly a blow to us. Be real for real.”
LA is famous for not having a great fan base as the Rams only moved to the city in 2016 from St. Louis. And with two teams, the Rams and Chargers, sharing the same stadium, allegiances are expected to be shared as well. This is something that frustrated Nacua and he didn’t hold back while expressing his thoughts.
Nacua and the rest of coach Sean McVay’s Rams squad is scheduled to face off against Warner and the rest of coach Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers team in the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne, Australia.

Also in the episode of the Real Ones: The League show, Puka Nacua and Fred Warner joked about the activities they can do while being in Australia.
“ I’m like, yo, we’re an hour away from each other. Why are we, why are we okay? Why are we going out? Why we trying to get set?,” Nacua asked Warner before the latter replied by explaining, “ ’Cause we trying to make worldwide moves, brother. That’s why they want us on that, on that jet going 20 hours to down under. Rocky.”
Nacua then acknowledged this, saying, “I love kangaroos too, dude. I’m like, but man, I want to see ’em when I play somebody on across the country.”
