It seems as though Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua is pushing through with his scheduled date with a celebrity, as he recently explained how he’ll handle it despite his nervousness. On Wednesday, Feb. 4, NFL reporter Dov Kleiman reposted his prior X/Twitter report, which includes a video from @overtimeszn on TikTok, featuring Nacua in an interview ahead of the 2026 Pro Bowls.
In the 17-second video interview, Nacua was first asked about what his move would be when he goes skydiving with American actress Sydney Sweeney. Nacua said he intends to just go for it without any doubt in his mind. He also admitted that he is nervous about the date with Sweeney.
“I’m just going to jump out of the plane, coach. I’m just going to full send it, no fear. I have that statement on my football cleats, and I stand by it. So, yeah, it’s time to really put it to the test,” Nacua shared before answering whether he is nervous, saying. “Yes, I am nervous. I’ve lost a lot of weight this week.”
Nacua is coming off his third year in the league from the 2025 NFL season. All of his campaigns have been spent with coach Sean McVay’s Rams. In the recently concluded season, Nacua and the rest of the Rams went all the way to this year’s NFC championship game against coach Mike Macdonald’s Seattle Seahawks on the latter’s home court. Los Angeles lost that game by four points, 31-27.
Sweeney is coming off the release of her latest blockbuster movie, “The Housemaid”, and the launch of her SYRN lingerie brand.
Puka Nacua Would Want To Go Skydiving With Other Celebrities As Well Along With Sydney Sweeney
In Dov Kleiman’s post on his X/Twitter account on Tuesday, Feb. 3, Puka Nacua was asked if he would go skydiving with different celebrities and famous athletes.
While he did share during that interview that he was going to go skydiving with Sydney Sweeney, Nacua added that he would also do the activity with the likes of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and Los Angeles Dodgers standout Shohei Ohtani.
