The New England Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl for the first time since 2019. Drake Maye and Co. have completely turned things around for the Patriots, making them one of the strongest teams in the league.
The Super Bowl will be played between the Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara on February 8. The preparation by both teams for the biggest event of the year is underway.
The franchise, at one point, was used to getting to the Super Bowl. During the Tom Brady era, the Patriots were nearly guaranteed to get there every season. Since Brady left, things got a little more difficult for them.
So, when Drake Maye secured their spot in the Super Bowl this year, the entire Patriots organization and fanbase celebrated. Even Taylor Yeley, the Patriots cheer captain, celebrated the major feat this season.
She recently celebrated the birthday of fellow Patriots cheerleader Emily Marshall, who is also her longtime friend. Yeley posted several pictures of Marshall to mark the occasion and penned a heartfelt note.
“Happy birthday to @emily_m127 !!!💗🎉 10 pics aren’t enough to capture all the laughs, long car rides, girls night outs, & nepc memories from day 1 have made us like sisters. I couldn’t be more grateful for our friendship & can’t wait to celebrate you x 1000 tn at practice and allllll week at the SUPERBOWL❤️💙🏆 ily most,” she wrote.
Marshall received more love from friends and followers who commented on Yeley’s post, wishing her a happy birthday and calling the duo iconic.
Former Patriots Coach, Bill Belichick’s Hall of Fame Snub
It’s difficult to think of an NFL head coach more accomplished, credible, revered, and deserving of earning a Hall of Fame honor than Bill Belichick. The six-time Super Bowl winner is arguably the greatest coach of all time.
Belichick shockingly didn’t receive enough votes to be a first ballot Hall of Famer. The credibility and motive of those who vote is being questioned because Belichick not being a first ballot Hall of Famer could never be justified with any argument.
“I don’t believe that any coach in the history of the game has done more to earn his place in the Hall of Fame than Bill Belichick. To say that he was my greatest coaching influence would be an understatement,” Tom Brady told Fox News’ Armando Salguero.
The football world has been in shock since this news came out. Everyone has tried and failed to wrap their heads around Belichick not being a first ballot Hall of Famer.
